teel's thread re his jc and his lawyer's advice has made me think....why dont all of us disfellowshipped ones sue the org for defamation of character????.
imagine if we could find a lawyer who'd be prepared to start a suit against them on behalf of us all?.

How about you go and contact several lawyers who deal with class action suits and run the idea past them.
Then come back and tell us what they said.

i'm afraid of people and ive really tried for fifteen years the rational part of mind keeps telling me im being stupid i've worked with these people for seven years i trust them there all really really kind none of them have done anything to harm me and when i'm at work and hanging around them i'm fine and happy and talkative but the moment i get into a situation where i have too be socalable i start having panic attacks and i cant breathe i tried talk to my dad (non jw parent) he told me to get over it that i've been out fifteen years and i cant blame my mothers religion for everything.
i'm starting too wonder if thiers somthing wrong with me!
the worst part is while the rational part of my brain is telling me my reations stupid the irrational part of brain is screraming and my hearts beating so fast i cant feal or control my reations.
Anxiety attacks occur in plenty of people who aren’t/never were JWs. It’s a sign of an anxiety disorder, and I’d recommend that you see a Dr about it. He can refer you to a specialist who will be able to help you.

I agree with everything that people have said, but I would also add, peace.
I feel more at peace with myself and the world around me. I no longer live in fear of the elders, or what the congregation will think, or ultimately, God. I live according to love, not fear nor hate. Thus I live at peace with the world.

my apoogies to my northern hemisphere friends who have already commented on the new releases at the district convention over the last couple of months.
wifey is at the first australian one today and came home last night with 2 new brochures; was life created?
& the origin of life - five questions worth asking.... at first glance, nice quality print job (printed in japan) colourful pictures to keep the kids busy all day at the convention site, but on further look the style of reasoning is sickening.

my husband blocked all of my parents's numbers (home and cell) from calling our house.
he did because they were continuing to say and repeat stupid stuff and stressing me out further than what i'm already stressed and they're trying to suing the property management of our apartment to retrieve monies that we had agreed to repay them (the property manager called us about it).. hubby has had enough.

next week, congregations will finish the article along with a box full of several experiences with successful results from informal witnessing.
Even when I was a full-on, believing JW, I didn’t witness at work. It just seemed inappropriate.
If someone asked me a question, sure, I’d answer them. If it got into a discussion that went on for more than a few minutes, I think I’d suggest that we carry on the conversation at lunch.
But I didn’t see the workplace as the right place to be preaching. I wouldn’t want a Catholic or born-again Christian preaching to me at work, so I didn’t either.
